Oh man, I have been out of it for the past couple of days. (Well, more like the last couple of weeks, but the last couple of days especially.) I hope I haven't ignored anyone on the small fandoms meme. Speaking of which, the small fandoms meme is still going, and the Dreamwidth version could use some love, too.

So! Pandora Hearts ep. 17! I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, they did in fact pack the whole thing with Sharon and the beginning of the school arc into one episode, and yes, it was rushed, but not nearly as badly so as I'd feared. I wish they'd taken it slower, but I still enjoyed it, and was not in the constant state of "wtf?" that I was last episode. (Although I'm going to have to agree with all the folks who commented on the questionable choice in voice actors for Leo.)

I want an Oscar of my very own, and also:

So, about PH 39, I was thinking GLEN IS VOLDEMORT about Raven's weird behavior at the end. It might be something so simple as Raven's typical melodramatic emoing about [spoiler] how he kept trying to abandon his brother and only kept coming back because he needed a reason to live, I AM JUST USING OZ I AM A HORRIBLE EXCUSE FOR A HUMAN I DO NOT DESERVE HIS FRIENDSHIP, [/spoiler], ad nauseum. I mean, it might well be something far more complicated and dire, but mere emo-ing would certainly fit with Raven's personality.

It is thundering right now, and it is the weirdest sounding thunder I have ever heard. This is not thundering, this is thunking. And sometimes ker-thunking. Maybe bits of the sky are falling...

Question! Does anyone want to buy Kyukyodo Shirohato off of me? I reviewed it here (and here's another review from Mike at the ORS), and while it's a great scent, I'm afraid I jumped the gun on buying it, because I never burn it. I just like too many of my other scents better so it never gets any air time, and if I sell it I could use the money to try something else. You can see what it looks like here (just scroll down a bit, it's second from bottom).

(If you've never had Japanese incense before, it's much more subtle and much less smokey than the incense you've probably tried, and you'll need something like a small dish filled with sand or salt to jab the stick in while it's burning.)

I've only burned 2 or 3 sticks out of the roll, and I'll let it go for $7.00 + $2.75 to ship in the US (let me know if you're outside of the US and interested and I'll tell you how much to your country). The roll originally contained around 80 7" sticks (and well, still contains that really, since I've only burned 2 or 3 of them).
