Does anyone know if everclear fumes can make a gas detector go off? From a distance? The thing started screaming just now and I went and sprayed the pipe that was leaking last time with soapy water and I'm not seeing any bubbles. (I'm also not smelling anything, but I wasn't last time, either, and neither was the dude that came to check it out.) I was, however, cleaning some essential oil bottles with everclear in the kitchen, but that is some distance away from the detector. I really don't think at that kind of distance it could be displacing enough air to make it go off, but I JUST GOT A GODDAMN LEAK FIXED WHY WOULD I HAVE ANOTHER.
