HAY GUYS recommend dramas to me! I haven't really seen all that many since I only recently got into them, and I don't know how to find what I want other than randomly trying things.

Some things that I like in a drama (or well anything really)!

- Comedy, both of the hysterical oh-my-god-crying sort (You're Beautiful) and the quirky, odd sort (Room of King). I am especially looking for funny things right now b/c I'm in the mood to laugh.

- Eyecandy (pretty boys and badass women!)

- Adorkable OTPs and BFFs and ~THE POWER OF LOVE AND FRIENDSHIPPPPP~

- Feminist themes

- TEH GAY

- Amazing writing (this is completely optional, I mean, I love cheesy crap, but I also really appreciate something that can blow me away)

- HAPPY ENDOS

Some dramas that I have seen some or all of that I really enjoyed:

Boss
You're Beautiful
Liar Game
Love Shuffle
Tokyo Dogs
Room of King
Beethoven Virus (omg you guys this is AMAZING but so intense I can only take it in little chunks)
HanaKimi
Antique Bakery (the K-movie, which is kind of cheating BUT I REALLY LIKED IT OKAY)

(You may notice that I have yet to watch any Taiwanese dramas at all.)

I also desperately want to see Top Caster and Rikon Bengoshi but I CANNOT FIND THEM ANYWHEREEEEE. Sobbb Amami Yuki ♥

Coffee Prince is a classic, and I've heard good things about Da Jal's Spring (if you want, I can dig reviews up). A user who watches a lot of doramas posted about her top ten and she has a lot of reviews for other ones too.

I've been watching the first few eps of Coffee Prince - it's a little slow for my tastes, but OMG I want to eat the heroine with a SPOON. Hadn't heard of the other one, I'll check it out.

AH, megan, somehow I missed that she had a top-ten list, thanks!

The Woman Who Wants to Marry, available on Dramafever! Funny, feminist themes, dorky and adorable characters! I also think Pasta is very cute and fun, but perhaps not so great on feminist grounds...

My favorite of the moment is Cinderella's Sister, but it's a melodrama. (A really good melodrama though!)

Hadn't heard of the first one, I'll check it out! I fear Pasta might make me ravenous for food I can't have. XD (Well I mean, I eat gf pasta all the time, but it's not quite the same...)

Dae Jang Geum will break you regarding food you cannot have. THERE WERE TIMES I COULD NOT WATCH WITHOUT FOOD.

Ahaha, can't deny that watching it makes me hungry! I've started cooking pasta more often as a result...

There's the Taiwanese Drama:
Queen's.

IIRC it drags a bit (the episodes are like 75 min each), but the concept ends up being kind of awesome, and a neat look at masculinity and femininity. Cheesy as hell, and hilarious. Also full of equal-opportunity eye candy.
