branewurms: (Umineko - OH DESIRE)
So at this point I have started no less than 4 kink_bingo fics. Have I finished any of them? Of course not. This becomes especially funny when you realize the first one I actually started only needs like, a few paragraphs more. Attention span. I haz it.

Also, one of the stories is not even in the same line as the others. God, this story is so weird, you guys, I can't even. I don't know, I had this dream, okay, this fucked-up Break/Gil dream, and it was all because of that anonymity square, and I had no choice but to write it, because for some reason fucked-up Break/Gil porn is about the easiest and most enjoyable thing to write in the whole entire world and it just started pouring out onto the page.

No, I do not understand this. It does no good to question it. I just write the shit, man.

(For the interested - currently on my plate: Beth/Gwynn, The Etched City, tattoos/tattooing; Beatrice/Battler, Umineko, rough sex; Eclipse/Raenef, Demon Diary, washing/cleaning; and from out in left field, Break/Gil, Pandora Hearts, anonymity.)

...

I had this bizarre, bizarre dream yesterday. It had what were essentially clones of Moko and Kyoko from Skip Beat. It was magnificently slashy, but. Well. It took place in this supremely sinister and strange supernatural world which I don't even know how to describe in words because it makes no sense to the waking mind.

I do recall that there were these two inhuman, supernatural men (or they took the forms of men, at least), that were... Well, you know that archetype that seems to pop up a lot lately? Dude that looks kind of 20's-esque, wears a fedora and glasses, has a briefcase, is all smiles and businesslike and polite, and you'd better hope that he has no reason to hurt you because if he does you'll just be a smear on the ground when he's done? Yeah, they were both like that. They had similar features, but were distinguishable from one another. They were supposed to work together, and one greeted the other one getting off a train, and they cheerily noted that their ties identified them as the same sort of being (their ties were completely different colors - rather loud colors - but cut in the same shape, and I think the ties themselves were somehow supernatural).

These guys had some reason they were supposed to hunt down Moko. (And maybe Kyoko? But the focus seemed to be on Moko.) Kyoko was trying to protect Moko, although I'm not sure why she should've needed protecting, because Moko was a supernatural being like the men - although she wasn't quite the same as them, and her abilities were different. I'm not sure what her abilities actually were, but she was supposed to be pretty badass. (Kyoko, I'm pretty sure, was entirely human.)

There was also a dour boy with flour-white skin and white-blond hair who I think was a permutation (as opposed to a clone) of that kid whose name I forget who has a crush on Moko. He could float and make himself unnoticeable and see in the dark. He was leading a group of people that Kyoko and Moko were a part of down some very dark staircases to try and track down the fedora guys before they could find and kill Kyoko and Moko.

The dream ended with a scene of the group coming down the stairs to some kind of basement level, and finding that one of the fedora guys had already cornered Kyoko and Moko. Somebody started shooting at fedora guy over and over, but fedora guy was just shaking back and forth as the bullets hit him and it wasn't doing any good. Suddenly his features changed, as if some sort of glamor had worn off, and he started screaming at Moko, and revealed his grudge was actually personal, because Moko was supposed to be his partner but had gotten paired with some icky human thing instead (Kyoko).

Then he sort of melted into the air and then his voice started coming from everywhere at once. At this point Kyoko and Moko were in the middle of the floor, pretty much sitting ducks, and Kyoko was trying to protect Moko bodily, putting her arms around her, and she was getting really frustrated with how tall Moko was. (Moko seemed to be in a sort of "WTF IS THIS SHIT SRSLY" blue screen of death state.) Kyoko was screaming back at the now-immaterial fedora guy, and I'm not sure what she said, but his response was a laughing, "Oh, you think I'd leave her alive?"

And then Kyoko looked back at Moko and screamed! Because shit! She is dead! Right there in her arms! And mangled and covered in blood! And Kyoko started flailing back from Moko in horror until it occurred to her that wait, this does not make sense, just a moment ago we were standing and my arms were around her and we were both moving and she could not have done that under her own power if she was dead. So, thinking it was an illusion, she threw herself over the body, and - this is Kyoko logic at it's best - closed her eyes and kissed Moko in hopes that it would break the illusion.

And that is the very frustrating point at which I woke up. I like to imagine that it would have worked, because Moko (once overcoming dire shock) would have been pushing her away and flailing around all appalled and embarassed and screaming "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU :EEE" and Kyoko would be all, "I was just trying to break the spell! That's how it works in fairy tales! And look, it worked! So why are you mad at meeeee! ;____;"

Yeah, this would pretty much be the strangest, most inexplicable AU in the history of ever.
